Dr. Dilip Bhalerao has been a veterinarian for 30 years and has had a very successful career throughout his life. He has been an academician and a clinician for several years. He has several awards, publications and honors. Dr Dilip has mentored nine students for MS degrees and has doctorate in transfusion medicine. In addition he has special training in hereditary disease of companion animals and genetic counseling. He is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and Oklahoma State University. Dr. Dilip was also a part-time faculty member at the College of Veterinary Medicine Western University campus, Pomona.

Dr Dilip has been trained at the department of Clinical studies Philadelphia and Oklahoma State University. He has been licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania, Nevada, and California. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical association and Southern California Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Dilip has worked in several veterinary clinics in Los Angeles. He is now actively practicing in Whittier, California.

Dr. Dilip Bhalerao has also participated and organized several continuing education programs and did presentations in international conferences. He has a strong interest in internal medicine, and he is a very passionate, caring and dedicated veterinarian. Dr. Dilip does treatment and diagnostics of small animal (Dogs and Cats) and exotic animals as well. He believes in good case management and teamwork. He is very cooperative with his peers and clients. He enjoys professional work and takes pride and pleasure in his achievements. We are happy to have Dr. Dilip Bhalerao with us, and look forward to seeing him continue to practice quality medicine.

Dr. Dilip’s wife Pratibha is a Chemist. Together they have one son, Kaustubh who is 22 years old and is studying to be a medical graduate and study at Cal Poly University. And Rutuja, who is a high school senior and is planning on becoming a veterinarian.
